学修の概要 本ゼミは、第3学期（Q3）に確立された方法論的基盤（芸術と科学的研究の共生関係）を発展させるものです。第4学期（Q4）にあたる本ゼミでは、「パフォーマンス・ライフ・アート・プラクシス」に焦点を当て、芸術の「方法論的機能」を検討します。この機能は、探究、収集、語り／創造、アーカイブといった研究活動の基盤となるものです。包括的かつ生成的、そして厳密なアーカイブを構築しつつ、芸術がいかにして、さもなければ些細なものとして扱われたり、覆い隠されたり、あるいは埋もれてしまったりするような歴史、記憶、語り、神話を明らかにするのかを探ります。そのために、前半では具体的な芸術作品の事例を、後半では実際のケーススタディを検討します。受講生は、理論を実践に応用する方法を学び、セミナーの締めくくりに発表する各自のプロジェクトにおいて、芸術的な手法を試行します。


This seminar builds on the methodological foundation (the symbiotic relationship between art and scientific research methods) established in the third quarter (Q3). In this seminar (fourth quarter), we focus on "Performance-Life-Art Praxis" and examine the "methodological function" of art. This function underpins research activities such as inquiry, collection, narration/creation, and archiving. We explore how art—while constructing archives that are comprehensive, generative, and rigorous—reveals histories, memories, narratives, and myths that might otherwise be treated as trivial, obscured, or buried. To this end, we examine specific examples of artworks (in the first half) and actual case studies (in the second half). Students will learn how to apply theory to practice and will experiment with artistic methods in their own projects, which they will present at the conclusion of the seminar.

パフォーマンスアートやミクストメディアをはじめとする現代芸術の諸技法が、歴史、記憶、社会的アイデンティティ（人種、ジェンダー、階級等）をいかに表現・再構築しているか、その理論的背景を説明できる。Explain the theoretical frameworks of how contemporary art practices—including performance art and mixed media—represent and reconstruct history, memory, and social identities (race, gender, class, etc.).

芸術作品が投げかける社会規範への問いを批判的に分析し、学術的（社会学的）研究と芸術的研究を融合させた独自の批評的視点を構築できる。Critically analyze the challenges posed by artworks to social norms, and construct an original critical perspective that integrates traditional sociological research with artistic research.

Design and present a practical expression or a detailed project proposal that "narrates society" using interdisciplinary methods (text, video, performance, etc.) based on one's own social awareness and research themes.

授業外学習の課題 講義では、理論と実践を繋ぐために、各回合計4時間の学外学習（事前・事後学習）が求められます。
In this course, a total of 4 hours of independent study (pre-class and post-class) is required for each session to bridge theory and practice.

1. 事前学修 (Pre-class Study: 2 hours)
講義で扱うテーマや芸術家についての基礎的な背景を調査します。
Students are expected to research the basic background of the themes and artists covered in each lecture.
概念の予習 (Conceptual Preparation): 指定されたキーワードの意味を確認してください。
日常の観察 (Everyday Observation): 講義テーマに関連する現象を意識的に観察して登校してください。

2. 事後学習 (Post-class Study: 2 hours)
講義で学んだ社会学的視点を用いて、具体的な事例を深く分析します。
Students will deeply analyze specific cases using the artistic perspectives learned in class.
リフレクション (Reflection): 講義の内容を振り返り、自身の観察（Observation）と統合した考察を作成します。
ワークシートの完了 (Worksheet Completion): 配布された課題を完成させ、次回の議論に備えてください。
履修上の注意事項 公認欠席は期末試験の受験要件には影響しないように配慮します。
公認欠席時の資料は後日配布しますので、指示に従って受け取ってください。
成績評価の方法・基準 平常点 (30%): ディスカッションへの参加と毎週のリフレクション。
