| 学修の概要 | Through these courses, students will have many opportunities to become more familiar with English, and comfortable with using it in a range of contexts through conversation, storytelling, and discussion. Students will be able to discuss big and small social issues, and matters of the heart. The courses will also focus on extensive reading, learner development, and conversation strategies. |

| 授業外学習の課題 | Students will need to make word lists, discussion questions, and write responses to questions. Students are expected to study for around 1 hour for each Active English class. 1) 30 minutes should be spent previewing the material for the next class (e.g. textbook, handouts, internet research). 2) 30 minutes should be spent reviewing notes and materials from the previous class. |
