授業の題目 上級貿易通信 International Business Communication IV
学修の概要 The purpose of this course is to introduce the principles of communication in business across cultures, with the aim of developing an international style of communication that can be applied in external communications for negotiations and in internal communications during meetings for discussion, strategic decision making, and problem solving based on authentic business case studies used to provide 'real' learning opportunities and experiences.

[実務経験内容: I have worked in packaged goods companies in Canada for over 10 years and for 20 years have conducted business English training in Japan for Nestle, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Kawasaki, Nihon Felt (Ambic), and Nippon Boehringer Ingelheim.
I will use that experience in this course to teach learners to analyze, evaluate, and even criticize the business innovation ideas introduced through case studies for discussion.]
学修の到達目標 Students will be able to demonstrate (1) knowledge of the key terms in business communication strategy, (2) skills in conducting business information analysis for recommendations & decision making, and (3) the attitude to collaborate across cultures in international business meetings to negotiate and solve problems - all graded as project work, not tests.
