| 学修の概要 | 本授業では、中級後半レベルの読解力をさらに発展させます。より複雑な内容や抽象度の高い文章を扱い、情報の整理・要点抽出・推論・批判的理解など、より高度な読解技能を育成します。文章の背景にある文化的・社会的文脈にも目を向け、読解を通して多角的な視点を養います。また、読んだ内容をもとにした議論や文章表現を通して、読解と他技能の統合的な運用を強化します。 ※授業は受講生の日本語能力に応じて展開します。 そのため、受講生の日本語レベル、人数、ニーズに合わせて以下のスケジュールを変更する場合があります。 This course aims to develop upper‑intermediate Japanese reading skills. Students engage with more complex and abstract texts, developing higher‑level reading abilities such as organizing information, identifying key points, making inferences, and understanding the author’s intent. The course also encourages students to consider the cultural and social contexts behind the texts, fostering a more multifaceted perspective. Through discussions and written tasks based on the readings, students strengthen their ability to integrate reading with other language skills. * This course will be conducted in accordance with the students’ Japanese proficiency. Accordingly, the schedule and content outlined below may be modified based on the students’ proficiency level, class size, and learning needs. |
| 学修の到達目標 | • 中級後半レベルの文章の主張・要点・詳細を的確に理解できる。 • 文脈や背景知識を踏まえて、内容を推論したり、筆者の意図を読み取ったりできる。 • 文章の構成や論理展開を分析し、要点を整理してまとめることができる。 • 読んだ内容について、自分の考えを根拠を示しながら述べることができる。 • 読解を通して得た知識や視点を、発表・討論・作文などの活動に応用できる。 By the end of the course, students will be able to: • Accurately understand the claims, key points, and detailed information in upper‑intermediate Japanese texts. • Make inferences and interpret the author’s intent by drawing on context and background knowledge. • Analyze textual organization and logical development, and summarize key points effectively. • Present their own ideas with supporting reasons in response to the readings. • Apply insights and perspectives gained through reading to presentations, discussions, and writing tasks. |

| 授業外学習の課題 | 毎回、語彙・文法事項の確認、読解テキストの事前準備、ならびに内容理解の復習など、授業内容に関連した課題が課されます（1時間程度）。 Homework is assigned for every class session, including review of vocabulary and grammar points, preparation for upcoming reading passages, and follow‑up tasks to reinforce comprehension of the lesson content (approximately one hour). |
| 履修上の注意事項 | 【公欠に関する取扱い】 ・公欠は「欠席」としてカウントしますが、単位認定要件および期末試験受験資格には影響しません。 ※本授業では、単位認定および期末試験受験資格に関わる最低出席要件を設けています。 【単位認定要件】 ・本授業の単位を取得するためには、15回中11回以上の出席が必要です。 ・欠席が5回以上の場合、単位取得は認められません。 ・公欠による欠席分の授業資料は、後日配布します。 ◆ 授業への参加ができない場合、授業への貢献が難しくなるため、正当な理由のない遅刻・欠席は減点の対象とします。 ◆ 課題の提出期限を守らなかった場合も減点の対象となります。 【Policy on Officially Excused Absences】 ・The policy for officially excused absences is as follows: Officially excused absences will be counted as absences but will not affect credit eligibility or final exam requirements. ※ A minimum attendance requirement is established as part of the credit and final exam eligibility criteria. 【Credit Requirements】 To receive credit for this course, students must attend at least 11 out of 15 classes. Students who are absent 5 times or more will not be eligible for credit. ・Course materials for classes missed due to an officially excused absence will be provided at a later date. ◆If you do not participate, you will not be able to contribute to the class, so late arrivals and absences without a valid reason will be subject to point deduction. ◆ If you do not meet the deadline for submitting the assignment, you will be subject to a point deduction. |
