| 学修の概要 | リーディング・ライティング（文字によるインプット・アウトプット）を中心に基本的な英語コミュニケーション能力を身につけることを目的とします。英語の基礎的な読解力・ライティング力を習得するためのクラスです。やさしい英語で書かれた読み物からはじめ、徐々にレベルアップしていき、高校までに学んだ単語、熟語、文法を復習しながら、教材中に出てきた表現をアウトプット活動につなぐことも視野に入れて学びます。 |
| 学修の到達目標 | 受講生の英語習熟度を考慮しつつ、リーディング(R)・ライティング(W)に必要な語彙力、文法力を向上させることを目指します。各レベルの到達目標の目安は以下の通りです。 レベル1a:(R)日常生活で使われる短く簡単な指示を読み、理解することができる。(W)住所・氏名・職業（自分の学部/学科などを含む）の項目を埋めることができる。 レベル1b:(R)日常生活で使われる馴染みのある語句や単純で短い簡単な文章（ポスターや招待状等）を読み、理解することができる。(W)身近なこと（好き嫌い、家族、学校生活など）について短い文章を書くことができる。 レベル1c:(R)挿絵のある短い物語を理解することができる。(W)自分の経験について、辞書などを参照して短い文章を書くことができる。 レベル2：(R)英語学習者用の短い物語や伝記などを理解することができる。(W)日常的・個人的な内容であれば、招待状、私的な手紙、メモ、メッセージなどを簡単な英語で書くことができる。 レベル3：(R)簡単な語を用いて書かれていれば、実用的・具体的な内容（旅行ガイドブック、レシピ、列車やバスのスケジュールなど）を読み取ったり、必要な情報を探したりすることができる。(W)身の回りのできごとや趣味、場所、仕事などについて、個人的経験や自分に直接必要のある内容であれば、簡単な描写ができる。 |

| 第２回 | Unit 1 short reading followed by vocabulary practice, comprehension, understanding summaries, short writing on mistakes you have made in your life. Homework writing on changing a story from past to present tense. | |
| 第３回 | Homework review. Unit 2, reading: story on changing one's life followed by vocabulary study, comprehension and story review. Writing exercise on daily habits. Homework p. 9 C, talking about food. | |

| 成績評価の方法・基準 | リーディング・プロジェクト(15～20%)、ライティング課題(15～20%）、小・中間・ユニットテスト（①15～20％）、期末テスト（②10～40％）、参加度（～10％）を原則とします。（ただし①と②の合計は50%以下）この他、宿題（～10%）をリーディング・ライティングプロジェクトの一部として課すこともあります。上記に加えて、TOEIC, TOEIC Bridge のスコア等を加味する場合があります。 |
