授業の題目 Global/Regional Studies B (Understanding global/regional issues)
学修の概要 この授業は日本語と英語を活用して行われるため、受講生は授業内外で能動的集中的に英語を学ぶ必要があります。毎回関連した視聴覚資料を視聴し、そのテーマについて英語でのタスクが与えられ、アサイメント=宿題は授業前に完了している状態で、授業は行われます。

宿題を提出しない場合、または授業でのディスカッションやプレゼンテーションに参加しない場合、その授業は「欠席」としてカウントされます。また、タスクに関するディスカッション等も英語と日本語の両言語で行われます。また、日本語でのディスカッションやプレゼンテーションをする必要もあるため、受講生は両言語での能動的な学習が求められます。

This course will aim to use extensive English with Japanese if needed. Therefore, students need to prepare to use intensive English inside and outside the classroom using dictionaries.

In this course, students will be assigned to a task on global issues every week by watching related visual resource. Every student must complete the assignment before each class and present their analysis in the class both in English and Japanese. If he/she has not completed their assignments before the class, it will be marked as 'absence'. In case they have not taken parts in the classes, they will be marked as 'absence' as well.

*This class has a cap number on enrollment. Those who wish to enroll must participate in the first class.

学修の到達目標 In this course, students aim to comprehend current global issues and express their opinion with their own words. It is highly expected that students also achieve to obtain skills to discuss in English in the class.
以上の目標を達成するため、英語の辞書を各自持参すること。電子辞書など、形式は問わないがスマホなどの携帯電話は原則として除外する。

授業外学習の課題 Students will be assigned to each task every week - takes at least two hours - and they would bring completed assignments to the class as well as submitting on Moodle platform.
この授業では、毎回次の授業のテーマが発表されるので、関係する事柄についてを自分でできる限り調べ（事前学修約2時間程度）、授業後に毎回ワークシートに取り組むことが必要である（事後学修約２時間程度）。
履修上の注意事項 ＊この授業は「ブレンド型授業」で、Moodleを使用する。
１．上記の授業計画は受講生の理解の進度に応じて変更することがある。
２．他の受講生への迷惑を避けるため、授業開始から10分以降の入室については欠席扱いとなる。
３．他の受講生の迷惑となる行為は厳禁。警告後を受けてもやめない場合、相応の措置をとる。また、無断欠席や遅刻が複数回続いた場合、評価は自動的にDかXとなる。
４．この授業は受講制限があります。
５．事前に許可を受けていない録音・撮影は厳禁。
６．レポート提出等、Moodleを活用するため、各自で常時動作などチェックすること。
７．各自Moodle上に提出した自分の作成したワークシートを、テーマが該当する授業で必ず持参すること。持参しない場合は授業に参加することが非常に困難となることに留意すること。
８．スマートフォン等で作成した文書はMoodle上に提出できない場合があるため、必ずMSワードなど文書ソフトを使用して、ワークシートを作成すること。ワークシートのMoodleへの提出をもって、評価対象となる。
９．広島修道大学が公式に規定する「公認欠席」がある。公認欠席時の資料等については、別途Moodle等で確認方法を提示する。公認欠席に対し、資料の提示など合理的配慮は行うが、本授業の欠席上限回数に含まれることに注意すること。
10．この授業は、英語を積極的に活用することが求められ、常にペアまたはグループワークの方法を活用することに注意する。
成績評価の方法・基準 ワークを含む受講態度（50％）、授業のワーク提出（50％）、を目安に総合的に評価します。
テキスト 原則として使用しない。
参考文献 適宜授業内で紹介する。
