| 学修の概要 | 英語によるリスニング・スピーキング（音声インプット・アウトプット）を中心に基本的な英語コミュニケーション能力を身につけることを目的とします。英語のリスニング・スピーキングに最低限必要な語彙力や文法力を習得するためのクラスです。常に意味と文法を意識して英語を聴き、そして発話する練習を行ない、英語によるコミュニケーション能力を養います。 |
| 学修の到達目標 | 受講生の英語習熟度を考慮しつつ、リスニング・スピーキングに最低限必要な語彙力、文法力を身につけることを目指します。各レベルの到達目標の目安は以下の通りです。 レベル1a:(L)classroom Englishによる短く簡単な指示を理解することができる。(S)個人的な話題（家族・日課、趣味など）について、基礎的な表現や文を使って、自分で質問したり、質問に答えたりすることができる。はっきりと話されれば、なじみのある話題（趣味、部活動など）に関して、簡単な質疑応答をすることができる。 レベル1b:(L)はっきりと話されれば、身近な話題（趣味やスポーツ、部活動など）に関する短い話を理解することができる。(S)なじみのある身近な話題（スポーツや食べ物などの好き嫌いなど）に関して、簡単な意見交換をすることができる。準備すれば、身近な話題について、基礎的な語句や構文を用いて簡単な意見を言うことができる。 レベル1c:(L)はっきりと話されれば、身近な話題（自分自身や自分の家族・学校・地域など）に関連したなじみのある語、単純な句や表現を理解することができる。(S)はっきりと話されれば、なじみのある話題（趣味、部活動など）に関して、簡単な質疑応答をすることができる。準備すれば、身近な話題について複数の文で意見を言うことができる。 レベル2：(L)はっきりと話されれば、公共の乗り物や駅や空港の短いアナウンスを理解することができる。英語学習者用の短い物語や伝記などを理解することができる。(S)順序を表す表現（first, then, next など）や基本的な表現や句を使って、単純な指示や道案内などをすることができる。自分の趣味や特技に触れながらある程度の長さの自己紹介をすることができる。 レベル3：(L)はっきりと話されれば、ゲームのルールなどの一連の行動を理解し、指示通りに動くことができる。（S)簡単な英語で意見や気持ちをやりとりしたり、賛成や反対などの自分の意見を伝えたり、物や人を比べたりすることができる。視覚的補助を利用しながら、身近な話題(自分、学校、地域など）について短いスピーチをすることができる。 |

| 授業外学習の課題 | There will be regular vocabulary, grammar, and/or listening activities each week as homework. Students are expected to study from 1.5 to 2 hours per week outside of the classroom. 1) At least 45 minutes should be spent previewing the material for the next class (e.g. textbook, handouts, internet research). 2) At least 45 minutes should be spent reviewing notes and materials from the previous class. |

| 成績評価の方法・基準 | リスニング・プロジェクト(15～20%)、スピーキング課題(15～20%）、小・中間・ユニットテスト（①15～20％）、期末テスト（②10～40％）、参加度（～10％）を原則とします。（ただし①と②の合計は50%以下） なお、この他、宿題（～10%）をリスニング・スピーキングプロジェクトの一部として課すこともあります。 |
