| 授業題目 | Public Speaking and Presentation |
| 授業の概要 | This is a performance-based course that focuses on public speaking and presentation skills. Students will learn the content, organization, and delivery behind three speeches: self-introduction, persuasive, and reflection. They will also learn how to use visual aids, where appropriate, to enhance the overall effectiveness of their presentations. Besides public speaking and presentation skills, there is also an emphasis on engaging the audience through follow-up questions and summarizing what others have said. |
| 学習の到達目標 | By the end of this course, students should be able to expand upon their presentation knowledge through the use of appropriate language, body gestures, and voice projection. This will give them the confidence necessary to interact successfully in a variety of public settings. In addition, they will further refine their PowerPoint presentation skills as well as analyze the presentations made by others. |

Complete homework and presentations to the best of your ability 4.) Register into your Google Classroom Credits will not be given if students are absent from class more than four times in one semester. |
| 成績評価の方法・基準 | The grade is composed of the following: 1.) Homework-30% 2.) In-class presentations-40% 3.) Active Participation-30% *Try NOT to be late or absent from your classes. *If you are absent, please contact the teacher or your classmates for any missing work. |
