| 授業題目 | Introduction to Public Speaking |
| 授業の概要 | This course is designed for students who want to learn basic public speaking and presentation skills. To accomplish this, students will practice the foundational concepts used for self-introduction, information, and demonstration speeches. Besides learning the content and organizational structures of these speeches, a heavy emphasis will be placed on acquiring delivery techniques related to voice inflection, gestures, and body language. Lastly, students will learn where to use visual slides in their presentations as well as understand how to ask and answer basic follow-up questions. |
| 学習の到達目標 | By the end of this course, students should be able to provide basic presentation content using proven techniques that will allow them greater confidence in interacting in an international environment. In addition, they will create PowerPoint presentations that are easy to follow as well as analyze the presentations made by others. |
