授業の概要 | This course focuses on developing academic writing skills. The desired outcome of Semester 2 is for students to become familiar with a range of paragraph styles and to gain a deeper understanding of what constitutes successful academic writing. |

授業外学習の課題 | Students will be expected to study for at least 120 minutes per week out of class. It is expected that EVERY student on this course: 1) uses English as much as possible week outside of class 2) always REVIEWS the last class and PREVIEWS the next class 3) completes their homework assignments every week |
履修上の注意事項 | 対面授業を実施します 原則として4回を超えた欠席をした場合、単位は認められません。 また、欠席については事前に連絡をすること。 To be successful in this course, students need: 1) good attendance and time keeping. * 2) good classwork and homework. ** 3) good motivation, participation, and preparedness. *** *Students with more than 4 absences will NOT be able to receive an evaluation grade for this course. **Students are expected to do homework every week even if they are absent. If a student is absent from a class, it is the STUDENT'S responsibility to contact a classmate or the teacher to find out about the classwork/homework. ***Students are expected to bring their textbook and a notebook to every lesson. |
