| 授業の概要 | This course focuses on developing reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills common in the IELTS and TOEFL iBT English language tests. The desired outcome is for students to develop their general test-taking abilities, and overall vocabulary and grammar knowledge. |
| 学習の到達目標 | The goals of this course are (1) for students to become familiar with how the reading, writing, listening, and speaking exams are structured and administered, and (2) to learn the kinds of test-taking skills necessary to perform at one's best. |

| 授業外学習の課題 | Students will be expected to study for at least 2 hours per week out of class. It is expected that EVERY student in this course: 1) uses English as much as possible 2) always REVIEWS the last class and PREVIEWS the next class |
| 履修上の注意事項 | 対面授業を実施します *Students must have at least TOEIC®L&R 450 or TOEIC Bridge® L&R 76 to take this course. *Up to 24 students will be accepted into this course. 原則として4回を超えた欠席をした場合、単位は認められません。 また、欠席については事前に連絡をすること。 To be successful on this course, students need: 1) good attendance and time keeping. 2) good classwork and homework. 3) good motivation and participation. |
| 成績評価の方法・基準 | The grade for the semester is composed of: Active Participation (50%) General Knowledge Testing (50%) *Lateness/absences/lack of effort will negatively affect grades. *If a student is absent from a class, it is the STUDENT'S responsibility to contact a classmate or the teacher to find out about the classwork/homework. |
