| 授業の概要 | This course is about developing the skills necessary to actively join in discussions. The desired outcome of Semester 1 is on understanding the essential features of discussions and the techniques needed for active participation. |

| 成績評価の方法・基準 | The grade for the semester is composed of: End of Unit Tests (100%) *Lateness/absences/lack of effort will negatively affect grades. *If a student is absent from a class, it is the STUDENT'S responsibility to contact a classmate or the teacher to find out about the classwork/homework. |
