| 授業の概要 | We use language for many purposes: business, leisure, education, research, entertainment, and many other purposes. This course focuses on the development of ability to use spoken English in social situations: the language of social interaction. |
| 学習の到達目標 | Planning in groups, initiating conversation, dealing with issues, investigating language needs, reporting and presenting in English are all aspects of this course. |

| 第２回 | "Catch-up" conversations, small talk. Brainstorming ideas.Social project planning in English: making teams, choosing together, keeping in touch. Meeting new people. | |
| 第３回 | Introducing an idea; making an invitation, accepting an invitation. Our social projects: the English we need, deciding details. Choosing, planning. |
