| 授業の概要 | This course will be taught mainly in English with Japanese if needed. Therefore students need to prepare to use intensive English inside and outside the classroom. In this course, students will be assigned to a task on global issues every week. Every student must complete the assignment before each class and present their analysis in the class both in English and Japanese. If he/she has not completed their assignments before the class, it will be marked as 'absence'. In case they have not taken parts in the classes, they will be marked as 'absence' as well. (この授業は日本語を併用しながらも主に英語を活用して行われるため、受講生は授業内外で能動的集中的に英語を学ぶ必要があります。毎回英語でのタスクが与えられ、アサイメント=宿題は授業前に完了している状態で、授業は行われます。宿題を提出しない場合、または授業でのディスカッションやプレゼンテーションに参加しない場合、その授業は「欠席」としてカウントされます。また、タスクに関するディスカッション等も英語と日本語の両言語で行われます。また、日本語でのディスカッションやプレゼンテーションをする必要もあるため、受講生は両言語での能動的な学習が求められます。） *This class has a cap number on enrollment. | 学習の到達目標 | In this course, students aim to comprehend current global issues and express their opinion with their own words. It is highly expected that students also achieve to obtain skills to discuss in English in the class. 以上の目標を達成するため、第1回目より英語の辞書を必ず持参すること。電子辞書など、形式は問わないがスマホなどの携帯電話は除外する。 |

| 履修上の注意事項 | 1. If you did not complete your assignment before the start of each class, you will be marked as 'absence'. 2. If you did not show up in the class for 3 times without any urgent reasons, your evaluation will automatically be marked as D. At the same time, if you get three absence for not completing your tasks you will also receive D evaluation. 3. You must show your concentration to the class so unnecessary talking or other behaviours which may disturb the class will strictly be banned.
