授業題目 Academic Research and Writing
授業の概要 The main focus for this course is conducting research and writing the graduation thesis. We will also give presentations or research and produce a guide to graduation thesis-writing for future students.

授業外学習の課題 Most research and writing takes place out of class; class time is for class guidance and individual feedback. You will need to allow between two and six hours per week for out of class work.
履修上の注意事項 As all aspects of this course work are preparations for your thesis, regular attendance is highly desirable. Absences will have to be made up by arrangement.

いかなる理由があっても欠席は4回までとする。
(病気、交通機関の乱れ、冠婚葬祭等、一切の事情を含める。)
Credits will not be given if students are absent from class more than four times in one semester (including illness, traffic-related problems, family-related matters, etc.).
成績評価の方法・基準 Students’ theses, presentations and thesis guide contributions will be the main means by which performance in this course will be evaluated.
