授業題目 上級貿易通信 International Business Communication IV
授業の概要 The purpose of this course is to introduce the principles of communication in business as they relate in practice as strategies for external communications in marketing and the internal communications in meetings for decisions involved in marketing mix decisions. An online business simulation game with companies competing against each other will be used to provide these opportunities.
学習の到達目標 Students will develop (1) knowledge of the key terms in marketing communications, (2) skills in demonstrating business information analysis for marketing decisions, and (3) the attitude for collaborative company communications in a competitive context.

授業外学習の課題 Students are expected to complete out of class preparation on individual and group project tasks and to conduct the business information analyses needed to prepare for in-class meetings and communications for decisions with their company team.
履修上の注意事項 Course activities focus on: (1) mini lectures with business communication workshops for skills practice, (2) marketing strategies & applied communications in tasks & projects, & (3) team meetings for company communication for decision making.

成績評価の方法・基準 Ongoing assessment will be conducted on active class participation 20%, marketing communication projects 20%, a knowledge review test 20%, written company strategy plans & reports 20%, & the business simulation game performance 20%.
テキスト 適宜、プリント教材を配布する。Handouts will be provided in class along with a link to the online Student Manual for the business simulation game.
