授業題目 Multicultural Project (Contemporary Issues in Japanese Society) _44
授業の概要 This class is for students who want to discuss about contemporary issues facing Japanese society. These issues will focus on these topics: People and Society, Health, Education, Science and Technology and Art and Culture. Each topic contains a series of listening, reading and writing exercises that will help the student reach the ultimate goal of talking and presenting about these issues in a logical manner.
学習の到達目標 By the end of this course, students should be able to find, discuss and present about topics relating to contemporary society in Japan. In addition, they should be able to use the appropriate language phrases necessary in order to engage in these kinds of discussions.

授業外学習の課題 Students should make every effort at:
1.) Using English as much as possible
2.) Practicing effective time management
3.) Always reviewing and previewing their work (2 hours per week)
履修上の注意事項 IMPORTANT: Registration for this course must be done at the beginning of the semester (in April). For necessary information, please attend the information session for all Term 2 courses offered on April 5 at 12:20 in Manabi Hall. Contact the instructor if you have any questions.

In order to succeed in this course you need to:
1.) Attend all classes
2.) Actively participate in all classroom activities
3.) Complete tests and homework to the best of your ability
*If you are absent more than 4 times in a semester, credit will NOT be given.
*This course is open to students who have a TOEIC score of 500 and above
